Color Guard Instructor

Mrs. Michelle Carpenter joined the Loyalsock Lancer Marching Band Staff as Color Guard Instructor in the Fall of 2013. A graduate of Shamokin High School, Mrs. Carpenter brings a wealth of competitive marching band experience to the Lancer Marching Band team. Under her leadership, the Loyalsock Color Guard has grown tremendously and has won several high auxiliary awards in Tournament of Bands and Cavalcade of Bands. In addition to instructing the Color Guard, Mrs. Carpenter teaches in the Business Department at Loyalsock Township High School. Mrs. Carpenter spends her days teaching classes in law, investment, finance, education, computer applications, and sports marketing. She is also the founder of Loyalsock Township's Chapter of the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA). Mrs. Carpenter holds a Bachelor's Degree from Bloomsburg University in Business Education. In her free time, Mrs. Carpenter enjoys reading, exploring the latest Apple products, and visiting the Bloomsburg Fair. Michelle currently resides in Loyalsock Township with her husband, Matthew, and their son, Calvin.
