​Mr. Ryan Bulgarelli became the Director of Bands at Loyalsock Township High School in the summer of 2013. Under his direction, the Lancer Marching Band won the 2019 and 2017 Cavalcade of Bands American Class Championships, performed in the National Outback Bowl Parade and Festival, won four-consecutive Tournament of Bands Chapter 4 Championships, and finished as Gold Medal Finalists at Atlantic Coast Championships. In his time at Loyalsock, the Lancer Marching Band has set new records for competitive scoring and finals placement and grown in both membership and performance. In addition to directing the Lancer Marching Band, Mr. Bulgarelli conducts the Loyalsock Township Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band, and Basketball Pep Band. Mr. Bulgarelli also teaches high school instrumental lessons, guitar, and music technology within the Loyalsock Township School District. Mr. Bulgarelli is an active euphonium artist, frequently performing with the Williamsport Symphony Orchestra's Billtown Brass Band and the Penn Central Wind Band. Mr. Bulgarelli holds a Master's Degree in Music Education from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, and Bachelor's Degree in Music Education with distinguished honors from Penn State University and the Schreyer Honors College. Mr. Bulgarelli has studied euphonium with Velvet Brown and Aaron Tindall, and conducting with Dennis Glocke, Eugene Corporon, Dr. O. Richard Bundy, and Dr. Christopher Kiver.
